TYPES OF TEQUILA
TEQUILA BLANCO (SILVER)
It's the unaged expression of tequila distilled from the blue Weber. Look always for bottles that said " 100% Blue Agave". Silver tequilas are perfect for Cocktails.
TEQUILA JOVEN
Blanco bottles labeled "JOVEN" typically contains a small amount of aged tequila blended with unaged tequila.
TEQUILA REPOSADO
It is aged in European & American Oak barrels for at least 2 months and up to a year.
Reposado can be drink it neat or for more flavor Cocktails.
TEQUILA AñEJO
Tequila Añejo is aged in European & American Oak barrels for at least 12 months. ( there are some producers that used other barrels in to the aging and blending process).

EXTRA AñEJO
This rare Extra Añejo expressions are aged for at least 3 years. its color became amber.
Stay away from GOLD TEQUILA, which is usually tequila plus caramel coloring and artificial flavoring.
TEQUILA AñEJO CRISTALINO
Cristalino is añejo, or aged tequila that has been filtered (often through charcoal) to remove the naturally occurring colors it picks up from spending time inside the barrel. they can remove the color without removing the rich flavors and textures imparted by the barrel.
